We start with a short diagnostic assessment to understand your child’s current level, strengths, and gaps. This helps us place them appropriately and design lessons that target exactly what they need, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Progress is tracked through regular lesson feedback, practice tasks, and follow-up assessments. Tutors monitor understanding week by week and share insights on what your child is improving in and where they may still need support.
You should expect clearer understanding of key concepts, increased confidence, and measurable improvement in problem-solving and test performance. While results vary by student, our goal is consistent progress, not just short-term cramming.
If progress is slower than expected, we review the teaching approach, adjust lesson strategies, and provide additional support where needed. If necessary, we reassess the learning plan to ensure your child is getting the right level of help.
Yes. Your child’s safety is a top priority for us. All tutoring sessions take place online and are delivered by vetted tutors who have gone through our assessment and onboarding process. We maintain clear guidelines around professionalism, communication, and conduct to ensure a safe and respectful experience for every student.
That’s okay. You can start with a laptop or desktop computer. A tablet with a stylus is recommended because it makes teaching maths smoother, but it’s not mandatory to begin. We’ll guide you on the best setup as you progress.
There’s no long-term lock-in. Once onboarded, you commit to a minimum of 3 weeks per student, which allows for consistent teaching and meaningful progress. Beyond that, you choose how many students you take on and how many hours you teach each week.
Failing the test doesn’t disqualify you permanently. We’ll share feedback on your performance and let you know what areas to improve. You’re welcome to retake the test after preparing, once you’re ready.
No. Prior teaching experience is not required. What matters most is your subject knowledge and your ability to explain concepts clearly. Our assessment process is designed to evaluate both, and we’ll support you as you grow into confident, effective teaching.

"My son went from scoring 40s to 90s in Further Mathematics. His tutor is a recent UNILAG graduate who explains things clearly and understands the curriculum. The tutoring services are quite affordable too!"
"I didn't have to worry about a stranger coming into my home and my daughter's WAEC mock score improved by 45 points in Maths. The rates are so affordable too. I've recommended this to three other parents already."
"Since my son started working with the tutor, he has been more confident in solving equations in his math class at school. His report card was full of As this term."
"My daughter started with the tutor from Tutor Point a couple of months before her GCSE exam and she had the best result in her school."
"NYSC allowance alone wasn't cutting it. With my tutoring income, I'm able to save for my wedding next year and still handle my daily expenses. My fiancée and I are both corpers using this platform."
"Since I started tutoring, I've been able to save some money for my master's program abroad. By the end of the service year, I'll have enough for application fees and initial expenses. That wouldn't be possible on allowance alone."
"Being able to work remotely changes everything for me. I'm posted to Kebbi but I tutor students in Abuja and Port Harcourt. The income helps me save toward renting an apartment after service."
